The University of Chitral polo team participated in the
prestigious Shahzada Burhanuddin Memorial Polo Tournament held in
Chitral. Upon the special directives of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof.
Dr. Hazir Ullah, the University’s polo team took part in the event,
showcasing remarkable skill, teamwork. The Vice Chancellor vision is to revive
traditional sports that are an integral part of Chitral’s rich cultural
heritage.
The team was led by Mr. Shakeel Hussain,
Public Relations Officer at the University of Chitral. The participation aimed
to encourage healthy activities among students and staff. The University of
Chitral is committed to promoting extracurricular and co-curricular activities
alongside academic excellence. Such participations not only foster physical and
mental well-being but also strengthen the sense of unity, discipline, and
community engagement among the youth.
