• Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Chitral University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Association for Academic Quality

    Chitral, September 10, 2025 – The Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Chitral has formalized a strategic partnership with the Association for Academic Quality through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU, enacted on September 10, 2025, establishes a framework for collaboration primarily between the University's English Department and the Association for Academic Quality. The MOU is designed to facilitate a range of joint academic and capacity-building initiatives. Key areas of cooperation include the organization of specialized workshops, certification courses, and training programs.

     

    The MOU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Chitral, and Mr. Amir Zeb, Director of the Association for Academic Quality. In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah acknowledged the contributions of several University officials instrumental in forging this partnership. He extended appreciation to Dr. Muhammad Romman, Additional Director of ORIC; Mr. Zia ur Rahman, Manager of Innovation and Commercialization at ORIC; and Dr. Kifayat Ullah, Assistant Professor in the Department of English, for their efforts in expanding the university's collaborative networks and enhancing institutional capacity.

     

    Dr. Kifayat Ullah has been designated as the focal person responsible for coordinating the implementation of the MOU's objectives. The ceremony was attended by senior university officials, including Dr. Sahib Khan, Additional Registrar; Dr. Muhammad Irshad, Additional Director of Planning and Development; and Dr. Nadeem Hassan, Additional Director of Administration.

     

    This partnership signifies a significant step towards strengthening the University of Chitral's commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and community engagement through structured external collaboration.
