The University of Chitral marked the Day of National Gratitude with great fervor and patriotism. Students, faculty members, and administrative staff gathered to express solidarity and gratitude to the nation's heroes.
The event began with flag hoisting, recitation of the Holy Quran, the national anthem, followed by a minute's silence in honor of the brave soldiers and civilians who sacrificed their lives defending the country. Student speaker Fahim Ullah delivered an impassioned speech, while Basharat Hussain, a faculty member of the Political Science Department, highlighted the significance of national unity in his keynote address.
Caretaker Vice Chancellor Dr. Sana Ullah emphasized the importance of patriotism and unity during times of conflict in his concluding speech. The event culminated in a solidarity walk and resounding national slogans.
The ceremony was organized by Chief Proctor Zahoor ul Haq Danish and saw enthusiastic participation from the university community.
