September 29, 2025 — The
University of Chitral has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the
National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), Lower Chitral, to collaborate
under the Prime Minister's Education Emergency-2024 program.
The partnership focuses on implementing the Each One
Teach One (EOTO) program, capacity-building of teachers and students
through training and seminars, promoting volunteerism, supporting research
initiatives, and producing academic publications and reports.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah,
Vice Chancellor, University of Chitral, and Syed Maqsood Shah,
Deputy Director, NCHD.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the contributions of the
ORIC team, the NCHD officials, and faculty members, noting their vital role in
strengthening educational initiatives in the region.
The ceremony was attended by senior faculty and
administrative officials.
